Considered a holy herb, St. John's Wort was employed for a number of folkloric uses during the Middle Ages. It was once believed that the herb helped to protect people from curses, demons, and lightning.
In contrast to its many uses, some countries have identified St. John's Wort as an invasive species and noxious weed. Though useful to humans, it can be dangerous to livestock, sprouting up in pastures and causing photosensitivity to the grazing animals that feed upon it.
St. John's Wort helps promotes a healthy mood and emotional balance. -
Wuhan HHD Sesamin CAS 607-80-7 Standard Sample For Research
Sesamin is the most prominent lignan compound found in sesame seeds, one of the two highest sources of lignans in the human diet (the other being flax). Sesamin is catered to be a nutritional supplement that confers antioxidant and antiinflammatory effects (if touting its health properties) or possibly being an estrogen receptor modulator and fat burner (if targeting atheltes or persons wishing to lose weight).

Sesamin has a few mechanisms, and when looking at it holistically it can be summed up as a fatty acid metabolism modifier. It appears to inhibit an enzyme known as delta-5-desaturase (Δ5-desaturase) which is a rate-limiting enzyme in fatty acid metabolism; inhibiting this enzyme results in lower levels of both eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA, one of the two fish oil fatty acids) as well as arachidonic acid, and this mechanism appears to be relevant following oral ingestion. The other main mechanism is inhibiting a process known as Tocopherol-ω-hydroxylation, which is the rate limiting step in the metabolism of Vitamin E; by inhibiting this enzyme, sesamin causes a relative increase of vitamin E in the body but particularly those of the gamma subset (γ-tocopherol and γ-tocotrienol) and this mechanism has also been confirmed to be active following oral ingestion. -
Wuhan HHD Apiin CAS 26544-34-3 Standard Sample For Research

Wuhan HHD Pure Bio Organic Herbs Extract Matrine Pesticide With Oxymatrine CAS 519-02-8
Matrine is an alkaloid extracted from the root, stem and fruit of Sophora flavescens, a leguminous plant, by organic solvents such as ethanol. It belongs to lupin alkaloids, a derivative of quinolicidine. Matrine, oxymatrine, sophoridine, sophoridine, sophoridine and other alkaloids are the main components of Sophora flavescens, and the content of matrine and Oxymatrine is the highest. Matrine and Oxymatrine are all easily soluble in water. Oxygen atoms in Oxymatrine molecule share a pair of electrons with N atom through a semi-polar coordination bond, which is similar to alkaloids and salts with larger polarity. Therefore, the solubility of oxymatrine in water is higher than that of matrine, while in organic solvents, the solubility is lower than that of matrine.

Wuhan HHD Hydroxytyrosol /3,5-Dihydroxyphenylethanol CAS 10597-60-1
Not for nothing was the olive wreath bestowed on winners of the Olympic games in ancient Greece. The leaves have been used traditionally in the areas where olive trees grew abundantly to treat varied ailments like fever, asthma, high blood pressure, diabetes, eye infections, diarrhea, hemorrhoids, and gout. And with the renewed interest in alternative medicine worldwide, olive leaves are now making a comeback. Modern research finds that the health benefits of the leaves are chiefly due to two compounds called oleuropein and its metabolite hydroxytyrosol, among other bioactive compounds called secoiridoids and flavonoids.
